Perry Holy Week Services

For many decades, the Perry Ministerial Association has provided a series of Holy Week meditation and meals during Holy Week. The week is an opportunity to mediate upon the life-changing events in the life of Jesus Christ which took place in history some 2,000 years ago.

Various churches serve as hosts. The Guest Preachers come from other congregations in the area. The Perry Ministerial Association is made up of a wide variety of churches in our community, who work together for the common good and the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Perry.

These Holy Week Services are held on Monday through Thursday during the week prior to Easter. The services begin promptly at 12 Noon. At 12:30, a luncheon is served. A free-will offering is taken, which goes to a ministry provided by Perry Churches in coordination with the Perry Police Department. The Perry Ministerial Association provides emergency lodging, gas and meals for individuals and families who are passing through our community who have a medical or mechanical emergency.

All are welcome to attend these Holy Week devotions and the meals which follow. The schedule is as follows, with the Holy Week Service beginning at 12 Noon, and a meal served at 12:30.
