Deadline Dates for Election

Sharita Trice, Chairperson and Elections Supervisor of the Talbot County Board of Elections and Registration, has announced the dates for testing of election equipment, Early and Advanced Voting, as well as the deadline for Absentee ballot applications.
According to Trice, the Logic and Accuracy Testing of the voting equipment to be used for the General Election scheduled for Nov.3, will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22 and will continue each day thereafter until completed.
Equipment testing will take place at the Talbot County Board of Elections Office located at 1761 on Geneva Highway in Talbotton. All testing is open to the public for observation.
 Early and Advance in-person voting will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 13 and continue until Oct. 30 beginning each day at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m. Votes can be cast at the Board of Elections office.
Saturday voting will be held on Oct 17 and Oct. 24 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Absentee By Mail ballot applications can be requested via e-mail to: elections-registration@talbotcountyga.org and online at mvp.sos.ga.gov. Applications can also be picked up at the Board of Elections and Registration office or by calling 706 665-8270 to request an application.
