Ministry team visits Grace Village

The Houston County Jail/Prisons ministry team met at Grace Village recently. After the meeting, members of the ministry, according to a release, invited the “Grace Village ladies” as their guests to Chick-fil-A for a meal.

The Houston County ministry team has members who visit local state prisons youth development centers and county jails.

“We meet and have tons of fun,” said team President Emory Wilson. “We enjoy eating together, and best of all: We share Christ to prison inmates.”

Several “outstanding” testimonies were also given, Wilson said, including three from those living at Grace Village.

One, Wilson said, offered up this: “I have been in and out of prison for years. I found that the only people that come into prisons and help us are men and women like you – the Houston County Jail/Prisons ministry team. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you! Thank you!”
