Letter to the Editor – Ron Carmony
Dear Editor,
The writer of a recent letter to the editor made the mind-boggling statement that letting parents have a say so in what their children are taught at school “would only promote anarchy and chaos.”
He can’t be serious and he obviously didn’t pay any attention to the Virginia governor’s race last fall, where the incumbent said the exact same thing and lost big time. Only in the dumpster fire of this current political climate would such insidious words ever be spoken.
Thankfully, more prudent minds have thus far prevailed.
