Letter to the Editor – Frank W. Gadbois
Dear Editor,
I could have thought that our 2020 Presidential Election was devoid of serious voter fraud after three vote countings and the last one by hand. Even our U.S. Attorney General stated that serious voter fraud did not exist in our state. Then he resigned to avoid the wrath of our former president.
Donald Trump tried to publicly chastise our governor and secretary of state to find the votes to let him win in a corrupt way, but they refused to commit voter fraud even after Trump’s threatening public conversations with them. Our former president had no shame or integrity.
What our Republican-controlled state government has done is to enact suppressive laws to deprive our less fortunate citizens of their rights to vote and make it harder for them to vote. Our Republican state legislators are like sheep and have little or no shame! They are all chatter about making our lives better and how hard they are working. Why don’t I see better things for most of us?!
