Letter to the Editor – Frank W. Gadbois
Dear Editor,
So why did every single Republican Congressman from our state refuse to support passage of the recent infrastructure bill in Congress? Not because we don’t have a valid need for billions of dollars of federal funds for our failing bridges and roads. They voted ‘’no’’ because the Democrats and Donald Trump want our president and the Democrats to fail! It’s as simple as that! Why did our Republican state legislature fail to adopt “Obamacare” and provide all our citizens with health care when they had the chance? Because Mr. Trump hates Barack Obama and our federal government that has a Democratic majority in recent times.
Our Republican Party is not patriotic and refuses to vote in any way that helps the Democrats and our country to become better and our citizens healthier and more prosperous. Donald Trump did not win the recent national election and he did a lousy job while he was pretending to be our president and corruption and greed were dominant! God help us if gets re-elected and all of Europe will suffer because of his egotism, and personal avarice and madness! Plus he will repeal Obamacare and cut funding for Medicare. The Republicans need to help make our nation great again and work with our Democrats instead of being against them!
