Ellerslie Voting Precinct to Move
The Ellerslie voting precinct is moving south – just over a mile.
Effective with the November General Election, those casting ballots at the Ellerslie precinct will have to go to Ellerslie Park as the voting precinct is being moved from Cornerstone Baptist Church to the Ellerslie Park Lodge.

Effective with the November General Election, those casting ballots at the Ellerslie precinct will have to go to Ellerslie Park as the voting precinct is being moved from Cornerstone Baptist Church to the Ellerslie Park Lodge.
The decision was made by the Harris County Elections Board on Tuesday, July 28. As the election approaches, a sign will be place in front of Cornerstone Baptist Church redirecting voters. There will also be a sign placed at Ellerslie Park.
This appears to be a permanent relocation with the Ellerslie Park Lodge becoming the Ellerslie voting precinct.
Elections Supervisor Morgan Bryce said the decision was made due to ongoing construction work at Cornerstone Baptist Church which is expected to last into 2027.
The Ellerslie Park Lodge was selected as the Ellerslie voting precinct because it is a county-owned facility and easily reserved for elections. It is also large enough to accommodate the ballot casting process.
Ellerslie precinct voters needing more information can call the Harris County Elections Office at 706-628-5210, or visit the office at 757 Carver Circle in Hamilton.
Voter status can be checked by visiting mvp.sos.ga.gov Enter first initial, last name, county of residence and birthday. Accessible information includes voter participation, voting precinct, and local representation.
