Currently the Pop-Up Library has been held in Waverly Hall with the most recent one on Tuesday, Feb. 25. Another one has been scheduled for Tuesday, Mar. 18. However, a Pop-Up Library can be held in any of the cities or communities in the county, the library simply needs a space in a building to host it. The Pop-Up Library in Waverly Hall has been held in the Bobby Lowman Recreation Center.

Last week, the Pop-Up Library in Waverly Hall also featured Valley Healthcare and Community Organized Relief Effort, both providing information about their services.

The Pop-Up Library provides many of the same services found in the main library in Hamilton. Those attending can register for or renew a PINES library card, pick up books with pre-arranged holds or return books. They can also check out books or DVDs from the selection taken to the Pop-Up Library. Audiobooks and Chromebooks are also available.

The Pop-Up Library hours have been 1 pm to 5 pm while the normal Harris County Public Library in Hamilton hours are 10 am to 6 pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; 10 am to 7 pm Thursday; 10 am to 5 pm Friday, and 10 am to 4 pm Saturday.

Any of the cities or communities interested in hosting a Pop-Up Library should contact Nesnick at 706-628-4685.
